About the Role
As an SEN Teacher, you will:
- Plan and deliver engaging, personalised learning tailored to pupils with diverse needs (including ASD, ADHD, SEMH, and complex learning difficulties)
- Create a safe, nurturing, and inclusive classroom environment
- Work closely with teaching assistants, therapists, and other professionals to support pupils’ progress
- Monitor, assess, and record pupil outcomes in line with EHCP targets
- Build positive relationships with pupils, families, and colleagues
About You
- We are looking for someone who:
- Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) (ECTs are welcome to apply)
- Has experience of working with pupils with special educational needs (or a strong desire to specialise in SEN)
- Is patient, resilient, and adaptable, with a child-centred approach
- Has excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
